WARRANTY

Two levels of Orthotic treatment:

  • Preformed
  • Full Functional

Preformed

May be all that is required to solve single, simple and short-term problems. These devices have the advantage of being more economical. This is achieved by employing less rigorous examination and prescription writing protocols. As a result, positive treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Full Functional

Because more exacting examination techniques are required such as weight bearing and non weight bearing goniometric measurements, gait analysis and computerised force pressure plate recordings, this increases the likelihood of a positive treatment outcome. It is possible to guarantee 2/3 of the biomechanical assessment fee (not the full assessment fee), subject to the following conditions:

  • The guarantee comes into effect 6 months after the fitting of the orthoses. This is to allow a sufficient period for breaking in the orthoses and making any adjustments that may be necessary. Expiry of the guarantee occurs 12 months after the fitting of the orthoses.
  • The orthoses must be returned.
  • The patient must keep the two check-up appointments at 4 weeks and 12 weeks and any additional fitting appointments necessitated by manufacturing adjustments.
